Phlebology

Find out more: Phlebology deals with the diagnosis and treatment of venous pathologies (various veins, capillary telangiectasias and angiomas, preventing complications or, in the case of illness, treating it. Thanks to decades of clinical and research activity in the phlebological field, Tessari Studi is the point of reference in the sector headed by Doctor Lorenzo Tessari, general and emergency surgeon, phlebologist and inventor of the so-called ‘Foam Tessari Method’ the famous “foam” sclerotherapy technique, now internationally widespread.
It is a conservative treatment of venous pathology of the lower limbs, simple, effective, safe and standardised in technique. In detail, the Tessari Method involves the outpatient use of the sclerosing foam, created mechanically using two syringes connected to each other by a three-way tap, mixing the drug with atmospheric air or biocompatible gas. The advantages of this method are minimal invasiveness, greater therapeutic efficacy, reduction of the risk of complication and allergic responses and wide possibilities of use even in difficult-to-treat pathologies.
