The most frequently encountered pathologies are: gastro- oesophageal reflux, irritable bowel syndrome, food intolerances/allergies, hepatic steatosis, idiopathic colitis, etc.
The objective of the gastroenterological visit is also to differentiate diseases of a functional nature, linked to environment, emotional factor, etc., from those of an organic nature, linked to a true organ pathology.
